 he mother of Susan Sabatini, one of our boutique’s co-owners, Lily Rose Bucci Sabatini was born July 13, 1929 as one of ten children. Her name was given by her parents because from the moment she entered the world, she was more beautiful than just one flower could convey. Her life, though short, depicted one of beauty inside and out that was exemplified with grace, fortitude, and resilience even in the most challenging of circumstances.
As a wife, mother, aunt, sister, volunteer, hairstylist, and friend, she dedicated her life to bringing out the beauty in everyone she touched through her skillful hands, kind and encouraging words, and a passion for hospitality, simple pleasures, and making whomever she came into contact with feel special, loved and appreciated.
At the age of 43, Lily Rose passed away from breast cancer. She was remembered in a story written by her husband as having “the indefinable beauty of every woman.” Those who knew her believe she was taken to heaven to be a guardian angel of all who still cherish her and the fond memories that are held so dear.
